May Ball Madness + New Stuff!
The annual May Ball has started and it is an extra celebration this time as it is the 10 year anniversary of Voldemort’s defeat. However it’s not all fun and games as Wydan’s first site-wide plot gets underway - the May Ball Invasion!
But it’s not all doom and gloom! Wydan has introduced a whole bunch of features including:
- Character of the Refresh, introducing a new character with each loading of the index page.
- An advertising forum
- And best of all Wydan Wiki is now live (albeit with many stubs). Also, introduce yourself to Wydan’s ghost population.

Still Alive
Still alive, and still happily ticking away!
A new semester, and plenty of new characters means that the game is happily continuing. So welcome to our new members, and hello to all potentials!
Hey, November!
It’s November now, so the university year has already begun, and that means we have events coming in the next few months!
- Sometime in January we are going to have the Mid-Winter Swim, where students (and professors!) can test their mettle against the freezing water of the Angen River.
- And there’s also the annual drag queen contest, so if you think your guy deserves the title of Miss Wydan University, get them ready sometime around March.
- And of course, there’s the May Ball, with dancing and dinner and all sorts of fun. Until the doors close and the nightmare begins…
And don’t forget, over the course of the next year you’ll need to watch out for the resurrection of Wydan’s secret society. Whether your character is a potential member or a victim of the Fool’s Test it’s something to keep at eye on.

Wydan University has now moved to our local address at http://wydan.amynta.org/forums. We are no longer at InvisionFree, and are thus able to work on limits that are more our own.
